Captain J Boat Tours is a Miami-based private boat tour and yacht charter company founded and operated by Captain Jeremy. The company specializes in customized marine experiences in Miami and the Bahamas, including Bimini crossings, marine life encounters, snorkeling, and off-the-grid locations. Captain Jeremy has extensive experience on the water, with hundreds of Bahamas crossings and in-depth knowledge of local marine ecosystems.

Where do your tours depart from?

Most tours depart from 2400 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL. Depending on the itinerary and guest preference, departures can also be arranged from Miami Beach Marina, Haulover Marina, or Downtown Miami.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open 7 days a week, typically 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. We can also accommodate custom departure times based on availability.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as Zelle, Venmo, and cash. Credit card processing fees may apply depending on the payment method used.

Do you offer private pickups and drop-offs?

Yes. Private pickups and drop-offs can be arranged from select marinas, waterfront hotels, or private docks, subject to dock access, safety conditions, and availability. Additional fees may apply.

What happens if I arrive late for my tour?

If a guest arrives late, departure may be adjusted when possible; however, return times typically remain unchanged due to scheduling constraints. Arriving early is strongly recommended to ensure the full experience.

We cruise to Fisher Island, Virginia Key and Key Biscayne. Before throwing anchor at Nixon Sandbar’s turquoise shallows for a refreshing dip. Dolphins, manatees, and eagle rays often steal the show!

Lunch at Boater’s Grill
Lunch docks at Boater’s Grill, a waterfront icon with breathtaking view. Fresh fish, lobster, seafood paella, pasta, or burgers in a postcard setting. (Pic Nic on the boat is also an option)

Stiltsville
Next, we cruise south to Stiltsville. Remaining historic homes rising from Biscayne Bay’s shallows, just half a mile offshore. These historical stilt house stand frozen in time, testament to Miami’s storied past, hosting Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe at secretive, glamorous parties in the 1940s and 50s.

Fowey Rocks
We sail to Fowey Rocks, an iconic lighthouse 7 miles offshore built in 1878. Overlooking the most pristine coral reef in Biscayne Bay National Park. A true snorkeler paradise.

Soldier Key
Next, we glide to Soldier Key, a tranquil island oasis in Biscayne National Park. Once an Elite Club in the 1900’s, nothing remains today. It now offers a shallow lagoon, and rare wildlife sightings. One of my favourite spots along the way!

Boca Chita Key
Our journey heads to Boca Chita Key, a historic island jewel in Biscayne Bay, famed for its Miami skyline views. Its iconic 1930s lighthouse and calm waters make it a perfect stop for relaxation.

Elliott Key
We cruise to Elliott Key, Biscayne National Park’s largest island. The sandbar will leave you breathless. The most spectacular in my opinion. Untouched island, shallow Bahamas blue waters, tropical beaches. Perfect to end the day and soak it all in.
